How to Apply Laptop Skins
Apply your laptop skin in the best possible manner to ensure that the product will perform as expected
Preparations
- Make sure that the surface of your laptop is intact - damages on the surface might complicate applying or removing the product.
- Clean the surface with a damp washcloth, if the surface is very dirty use a small amount of suitable cleaning agent.
Place the skin upside down on a flat surface. Peel back the liner along the shorter edge (about 2-3 cm).
Place and press the exposed edge onto the Laptop surface, start in the middle of and work your way up and down.
(Tip:Make sure you have your skin the right way round – check for hinge cuts or your image position on the open laptop).
Start to peel away the liner, keeping the skin close to the laptop surface, apply with overlapping strokes Starting from the middle of the edge you’ve just applied.
(Tip: Use a stiff object such as a credit card or smooth down with a lint free cloth).
Smooth over the skin and enjoy the effect!
